Residential EV Rate Plan

Our residential EV rate (EV2) can lower your electricity costs if you charge during off-peak times of the day when rates are lower. EV2 rates apply to your household’s entire electricity usage, not only your EV charging. If you own or manage a multifamily property with shared EV charging, please see our BEV1 rate.

How to Enroll in the EV2 Rate

To enroll in the EV2 rate and compare your rate options, log into your PG&E online account or call PG&E at 1 (866) 743-0335. Once your account has moved to PG&E’s EV2 rate for delivery charges, your electric generation charges will also automatically be billed under the corresponding MCE EV2 rate.
