Benefits

Electric heat pump water heaters offer several advantages over conventional natural gas water heaters.

Energy & Bill Savings – More efficient than older gas and electric models, heat pump technology is 2-3 times more energy efficient than a gas storage water heater. This can add up to lower energy bills.

Cleaner Air, Healthier Planet – No combustion (burning of fossil fuels in the form of flames) in the home translates to better and healthier indoor air quality, while also reducing carbon emissions that contribute to climate change.

Added Value for Homes with Solar – Since heat pump water heaters are powered by electricity, solar systems can be sized to produce enough electricity to offset most–or all– of the water heater’s energy costs. For homeowners wishing to fully electrify their homes, or cosidering installing solar, a heat pump water heater is a must.
