2024-2027 PCC1 & Large Hydro/ACS Request for Offers (RFO)

MCE is issuing an RFO seeking offers for 2024-2027 Renewable Energy Power Content Category 1 (PCC1) & 2025-2027 Large Hydro/ACS Energy to meet its near-term objectives beginning April 8, 2024 and closing April 19, 2024. Please look at the solicitation documents on the far right of this webpage for more information on the solicitation, including the product MCE is seeking and the offer form.

2024 Open Season Request for Offers (RFO)

As part of MCE’s mission to confront the climate crisis by eliminating fossil fuel greenhouse gas emissions, producing renewable energy, and creating equitable community benefits, MCE is pleased to announce our upcoming 2024 Open Season Request for Offers (“Open Season 2024”). Open Season 2024 provides a competitive and objectively administered opportunity for qualified suppliers of energy and energy storage products to fulfill MCE’s resource requirements identified in its Integrated Resource Plan.

Community Solar Connection Ongoing Request for Offers (RFO)

To advance energy equity and affordability in our service area, MCE will procure under the Community Solar Connection program to comply with the Green Tariff policy. All bids must be for newly built solar projects. This solicitation includes:

Open Submission Process

  1. The Community Solar Connection RFO Procedural Overview and Instructions document includes a full schedule, eligibility requirements, and instructions on how to submit a complete and conforming offer.
  2. All submissions must be made in partnership with a community-based organization or municipality. View a list of interested community sponsors.
  3. No RFO Deadline: this solicitation will remain open until the program capacity is filled.

MCE’s solicitation is ongoing until the program’s capacity obligation is met. Any unmet and remaining capacity may be rolled into the open solicitation until the capacity obligations are met fully.
